Hehe.. I have software running on 2.1 that the upstream vendor has
just gotten plans to update to EL-3. However, I also have some
colleges that didn't like our Linux lab because it didn't get updated
every 6 months to the latest fedora.

Well you don't have to upgrade to X+1 you know :).. At 60 months, most
of your software would be running RHEL-2.
