Does anyone have an opinion on this:
usually in a network I would have 1 of server setup as the mailhost for system generated emails, etc. The other hosts would just have a forward set in /etc/aliases, however another way of doing it, mentioned in the NSA guide suggests editing the submit.cf to forward all mail straight to the mailhost. One problem I noticed with this is that the mailhost will try to send back anything not directly addressed to it, for example if the email being sent was [EMAIL PROTECTED] it would work, but if it was [EMAIL PROTECTED] gets to mailhost, then mailhost tries to send it back to anotherserver.
