I remain confused in re: multipath and the DS4800.........

Meaning that I no longer have to make specific entries for the DS4800
under the "devices" section?

I have, and this has literally no "details".  I'm not clear what it
means by "default configurations were added for..." - does this mean
the required config data is buried in the kernel / driver bits?

Just trying to find out some CURRENT info on multipath and the IBM
DS4000 class storage, it still looks to me like I need to edit
multipath.conf, and I still need to install RDAC and use its
"subdevices" in the conf file.  And it that's the case, I don't
believe I can run RHEL5U3 because the latest RDAC is ancient (as
always)

I am really hoping that RDAC is no longer required......
