A quick search shows numerous complaints about this in prior releases of Fedora

I built an initrd to include hardware handlers for IBM storage.

The FIRST time I tried to built it it built OK.

When I try to build it again (on the same host) the process hangs at jbd

[r...@orastgdb01 ~]# mkinitrd -v --preload=scsi_dh_rdac --with=dm-rdac
-f /boot/initrd-$(uname -r)-multipath.img $(uname -r)

Note, if it matters, I am now booted to the kernel running the modules
I am including in the mkinitrd statement.
