I'd like to thank everyone for the discussion, and please feel free to
contribute more.  So far it looks like I'm going to be handling the
scheduling via a script with some mapping in a database.  I'll gladly
provide details once I get it implemented if anyone is interested, but
unfortunately I am not allowed to share the code (that bit is a work in
progress).
