Can somebody from Red Hat comment on this? I have approved this patch to go into our environment this week but I feel like I should postpone.

Downgrading to tomcat5 - 5.5.23-0jpp.7.el5_3.2.i386 and restarting tomcat restored service, but it looks like a problem with that release fo me at least. Any ideas on how to fix? I've not seen any other complaints re this so I don't think it is widespread.
