This war has been compared to WWII regarding Pearl Harbor and 9/11,
but I think a much more accurate view would be to compare Fallujah
with the Nazi Blietzkriegs of Paris or London.
Or the terror bombing of Rotterdam, or Guernica.
Astonishing that the media isn't up arms about being shut out
of the coverage. My uncle was a photog in WWII, carrying a piece of paper,
signed by Eisenhower, that he full access to anywhere the Army went. All
the reporters had them.
We have become the bad guys and 51% of Americans want it that way,
apparently.
