CNN reported ...that the Bush camp gave what amounts to a "childish"
response to Kerry's challenge to for the two to meet for monthly debates.
The Bush camp responded to the challenge by saying that "Kerry ought to
debate himself instead."
Haha ... but you know, it sounds like Bush is scared.
Kerry, in effect, is an inverse of Bush. Kerry sees nuances. He's capable
of saying that even if NAFTA was mostly good that there are changes that do
have to be made to make it fairer and _better_. He's capable of seeing that
not every defense department program is necessary. Even Bush's Sec. of
Defense Rumsfeld has said as much ... Rumsfeld has been reorganizing the
Armed Forces in all sorts of manners and has at times campaigned against
weapons systems that the Armed Forces have traditionally wanted.
Bush on the otherhand, appears to write his stances in crayon. There are no
shades in Bush's thinking. "You're either with us or against us" has been
the modus operandi under his leadership.
That's childish thinking. And America deserves better.
