Anyone who understands the American mindset knows the answer. But your comparison to Madrid is apples to oranges; the Spanish electorate did not vote in the people who started the Iraq war. They then threaten to behead each of them over a period of days in mid-November and video tape each death in detail if the American voters elect a particular presidential candidate (we won't say which one). They further say that if the opposite candidate is elected, they will free the entire group. What effect do you think this situation could have on the American electorate, if any?
