However most developers use the tool set, they don't change the tool set. here's an analogy: Think of a car. if you want to enhance the preformance of your car you hire a mechanic to install a new engine or upgrade the air filter/ spark plugs etc. Rhino is the engine/spark plugs/air filter and a consultant (or in-house IT department) is the mechanic. Once they upgrade the system you can take advantage of it. ETL is the concept, not a product. it sounds like you are looking for a product to map the data yourself. most likely a GUI. Rhino is about infrastructure. so a product could use rhino to drive the ETL, but the GUI/logic is proprietary to the company who design it.
