I've added a Metamer page simulating this issue. I can confirm it is an IE7
issue with z-index.
DDM is working with: safari 534.57.2, IE 9, IE 8, FF 12, Chrome 21.
DDM is not working in: IE6, IE7, IE8 with compatibility mode* , IE9 with
compatibility mode*.
* behaves as IE7 (as it is displayed in Metamer)
