What Washington needs is a good 12-step program.
1. We know we are as a country is $14+ tril in debt and Congress just
authorized the the POTUS to spend another $2 Tril.
2. We know this is going to take generations to pay off.
3. We know the govt has decided not to even attempt to start paying it
down.
4. We know no attempt was made to reduce the natl debt this decade.
Nothing. Nada.
5. We continue to borrow 40+% on every dollar we spend.
6. We know there is no serious attempt to reduce spending.
7. We’ve done nothing to strengthen our financial condition needed to
prevent more downgrading.
8. We know we lost our AAA rating when the Congress demonstrated its
willingness to continue squandering
9. We know our reps in Washington vote on bills they never read. If the
leasders bring a bill to the floor too fast to read, shouldn't they vote ney?
gimme time.
10. We don't know if there'll be enough worth saving by Jan 1913.
11. When will they stop diggin,. ever?
12. We know if we don't get the job done quickly, generations will
suffer.
To say Congress spends our money like drunken sailors, is demeaning sailors.
