Correction: Calif “Dream Act” has same “problem” as the Texas law.

There are a lot of problems with this law, here's just one: According to the
legislation, in order to apply for tuition assistance illegal "students must
graduate from a California high school after attending school in the state
for at least three ...

By the way, the SCOTUS has single-handedly passed legislation (they call it a
judical decision) requiring all states to educate all children, legal or
otherwise, within their jurisdiction.

PS
If foreigners have equal rights to a public education, don't they have the same
equal right to be in this country? And to vote? And to become POTUS---which
explains why the SCOTUS refuses to hear the merits of the case Vs Obama
eligibility.

Congress has no Constitutional power in education of our children, which of
course, doesn't matter a wit. (Read their enumerated powers in Art I, Section
8.) Now the POTUS is threatening to usurp that Congressional assumed power as
he sees fit. Constitution be
damned.http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/oct/10/harkin-has-blueprint-for-education-reform-ready/?utm_source=RSS_Feed&utm_medium=RSS
