LSTP QUICK SHOT - OBAMA GIVES BIDEN $6379. PAY RAISE This is silly. POTUS has no such powers. Only Congress can give Congress a raise. The issue is: it is not Constitutonal. By accepting the pay increase, Congress is giving up it's power to give increases in fedl salaries as well as decreases in same.
