Last year on the 50, we gave embroidered weight division champion and
reserve champion awards instead of top ten--this included junior
and
reserve junior. We didn't get much feedback about that, anybody
want
to comment on their druthers? Seemed more fun than seeing the
same
folks get top ten loot all the time, spread the awards out more
among
the field.

Norco Riverdance Ride (PS)
This is pretty much std in the mtn reg rides I've attended and how I
did my rides as a manager. -top 10 doesn't mean much when 20 or less
riders are entered for 1 thing, which is fairly common in the region
-a good turnout is 40+ for LD and 50 combined. Sometimes 1 wgt div 1st
place is behind the top finishers but its usually fairly even if my
memory
is not completely off base. (reserve awards are not so fancy since
the #'s are smaller, but usually each div is recognized instead
of the top 10 or 5 or whatever - they get recognition if they presented
for BC judging often as all BC presenters are announced in order of
scoring at many rides)
