To keep the hackers at bay, Los Alamos National Lab. has installed a
firewall in front of most of its computers. mist.lansce.lanl.gov is now
inaccessible from the outside. I have created a new public ftp site for
gsas at Los Alamos. It is:
ftp://ftp.lanl.gov/public/gsas
The distribution kits for MS-DOS (Win95,98 & NT), SGI-IRIX, HP-UX and
Intel-Linux along with the PDF form of the manual are located at this site.
These have not been updated from the ones previously available from mist. I
hope to get a new version of gsas out soon. The new site is more robust and
hopefully faster than the old one; you should be able to do downloads from
web browsers, etc.
Please let me know of any problems with the new site.
