An intensive short course in the Rietveld method is offered annually at
the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga USA. This year it is
scheduled for 8-10 May 2000. It is specified as a short course rather
than a workshop because the same three professors, Wilkinson, Von Dreele
and Young, spend the entire time with the students. They deliver the main
lectures (mostly AM) and provide tutorial guidance in the 'hands on'
computer sessions (mostly PM).
