Dear Juro,
for our old D5000 diffractometer with secondary graphite monochromator we
used 0.5 as pol. factor, that worked quite well.
However, we now have also a new D4 system, but with the Vantec PSD detector
without monochromator then LP should be 0.
We have at this moment the same problem.
Do you have an airscatter snout installed on your system to prevent
airscatter effects at low 2 theta angles?
We think that in our case this may be the reason for the problems, because
it is possible that the airscatter snout may cut off some intensity of the
primary beam at higher 2 theta angles.
Kind regards,
Stefan
