Hi David, ImageIO (included in the JDK) is good enough for most imaging tasks. Others are really only needed if you want to allow people to upload images in other formats that are not supported, or if you want a speed increase. Yes, just putting any of the supported imaging libs in the server's classpath will let RIFE pick it up.
