Hi, RIFE/Crud provides the serve content element for you automatically in the sites that it generates for you.
If you don't use RIFE/Crud you have to include that element manually in your site structure. Yes, the element declaration you list below will serve your CMF data at the /content URL provided that the datasource is the same as the one you use in the admin site.
