FWIW ... That's an interesting point, that in some places the system
supports object location using assumptions about directory structure,
and in other places it does not. If there's going to be a paradigm
for this, having more than one paradigm at a time might be
confusing...
That's a good point, since I suppose that some people would like the
default behavior to be according to the element ID, others maybe
according to the element URL, ...
That could indeed be confusing.
