Hey all,
     Ideally, it would be nice to have a plugin structure that would be easily ported to the other main Java IDEs.  (NetBeans and IntelliJ)  Obviously things would change slightly and this might be a huge task but I think that this should be the approach.  Obviously we would need developers that can take an idea, like we've provided, and create the proper translation to their respective IDE.  Hopefully we have enough expertise and time.  :)

Yes, we are talking about the same thing. As I'm saying, if the IDE
already provides features to ease RIFE development that much, why
re-invent the wheel?

I'll try a RIFE project template for NetBeans first before going for a
full-blown plugin.
