Concerning the documentation I totally agree that it is good, but has room for improvement. For instance, I was pretty confused, because in most docs and in the RIFE Theatre, you see the <!-- --> syntax for templates. But in the current jumpstart ${} is used. Not a huge problem, but if you are very new to something, you really don't like surprises. ;)
Yes, I've been wondering about this too. I changed the jumpstart to the ${} syntax for the last release, but I'm not so sure it's a good idea. It doesn't seem to make people stop thinking that the template syntax is weird. Since I still advocate using <!-- --> and most RIFE users seem to prefer it, I think I'll just convert the jumpstart back to <!-- --> for the next release.
