Hi,
Please note that a patch moving the ring daemon (dring) from ${prefix}/libexec
to ${prefix}/sbin has recently been merged:
https://gerrit-ring.savoirfairelinux.com/#/c/3955/
This was done because libexec does not exist on Debian based distros.
This should normally only affect you if you are installing/deploying Ring from
source or possibly if you are a package maintainer.
