I figured this out. My ThinkPad laptop has unusual LPT1 port address 0x3BC instead of
usual 0x378. FreeAmp correctly resolves LPT1
to the physical address or simply pings each of available parallel ports until Rio
responds. That's a nice feature that should be
adopted by other Rio shell programs.
