Why not install the _entire_ SlimServer and use it to generate your
database?  Just make sure you run the same version on the computer so
that the database schemas are identical.

I can't think of good reason to break out only the database generation
code.  Even though SlimServer is something of a memory hog, you'll only
need to run it for the time it takes to rescan the library.
