I re-downloaded Flac and Eac, and set the compression parameters as suggested. EAC reads the file, writes it as a .wav and then fires up flac. However flac doesn't seem to do anything, and - when I test it using only one track - it (EAC) reads on the bottom of the screen '1 compression task left'.
