Funnily enough, I read this argument for avoiding WMA, and I didn't
really buy it.

*I don't think Microsoft is going to go away.

*Microsoft hopes that all its customers rip music with WMA. It's 
the default. WMA is a core part of MS's media offerings.

*There is a lot of third party support for WMA. I had the choice to
output WMA's in EAC. Itunes can import WMAs.. etc..

I'm happy that FLAC is building momentum, but actually, I'm happy with
WMP10, and using WMA makes life easy.

To be honest, I bet that windows opens up WMA to open source before
long. The new big baddie on the block is Google!
