This is exactly what I'm doing. And it's a free country, whatever rocks your boat. :-) I just got a 250 GB disk for music and I only have 31 GB of music, so storage space isn't a problem. Crappy music is. And there's a lot of crappy music out there. Life's too short to listen to crappy music, so I put it in the Zapped Songs playlist and delete them when I can. I don't care if it breaks up an album, I never listen to whole albums anyway. And just because there are some good songs on an album, it doesn't make the bad ones better. I also just recently got rid of most of the live music I ripped. I have never liked live recordings. I would rather not hear the clapping/cheering, the poor mic, the muffled instruments, etc. I realize this is often a different interpretation of the album version, but it generally sounds so crappy anyway, I don't care. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21807 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
