I completely agree about the "live" recordings.
If one wants "live" - there is only one way (that I know of) to have
"live" -- that is go to the show!

Studio work is by the blood,sweat and tears of the
techs,musicians,producers,grunts and so forth.
Strive for the perfect sound and hope like the dickens it's a live run
- if not - roll it again 'till it's right.

Recorded "live" is a crap shoot.
Most times it's less than worthy of vinyl.
