Thanks; it wasn't clear to me that the link on dBpA's site was a plugin - I wasn't certain that I wouldn't be trampling over one codec with another. (This is from a guy who once managed to install Acrobat 5 on top of Acrobat 7 through one misplaced click on an installation CD...) I'd still like to be able to set the normalisation level, if only to match earlier settings used in CDEx. (Of course, I could decode FLAC to WAV then recode to (normalised) WMA in CDEx; but then I'd probably lose all the tag info... unless I can find a way to extract and "re-use" the tags...) Hmm. Maybe it's possible to normalise (a copy of) the FLAC files, then transcode that? I wonder if the general converter mentioned in another thread here will do normalisation?
