I frequently run two EAC instances on a 2.4 Athlon / 1GB. CPU usage goes to 100% when both encoders run at the same time. But, all in all, encoding only takes 30 seconds or less. The more frustrating part comes in ripping because the DVD drive runs almost twice as fast as the CD-ROM drive. So, I am always out of sync.
