I've been using Robin Bowes' excellent perl script "flac2mp3.pl" to convert my flac rips to mp3, but I find that it hogs my machine while running, making it pretty much unusable. (I have a P4 3.4Ghz so it's not exactly a slow machine.) Does anyone know if it's possible to alter the script to start lame at lower priority somehow?
