If you have done the EAC rip steps in slightly wrong order, your cue file contains the path to the files when they were ripped. The cue file should be created as the second step, immediately after you have detected gaps. But is your files are correctly tagged, it's better not to have the cue files since they can create problems if you change file names or tags and don't update the cue file.
