A couple of years ago, I extracted audio from a few concert DVDs to wav
and then converted it to FLAC. The labels said they had 2 channel LPCM
and 5 channel AC-3 soundtracks - so I extracted the 2 channel LPCM
tracks. Unfortunately I can't remember what software I used - I think
it was something like DVD audio extractor on windows. The sound is
awesome, and my DAC correctly shows it as a 48KHz signal - however I
have noticed that there is the slightest pause between tracks (which
isn't present on the original DVD) i.e. not gapless. Has anyone
encountered the same thing? Do I need to do anything special? Any tips,
suggestions, conjectures are welcome.

Also I was trying to accomplish the same thing on a mac. I tried using
MacTheRipper, which outputs .PCM files. I tried changing the extension
to .wav and .aiff, but this didn't work. What application can I use
(mac or win) to read/transcode these files?

Thanks,

Nikhil
