I am still getting probs with Freedb and wonder if I am alone? There seems to be much discussion on their Forum with little (as far as I can see) real resolution ie none of the work around's seem to work around the fundamental problem (what ever that is)! In the meantime, what are users using to replace these looks ups? Is it essential to do the look ups at this point in the ripping, or can it be done later?
I am ++ new to this whole Slim Device business, in point of fact mine is on its way (hurry up Tech Pushers PLEASE!!, but am doing all the research I can including getting the s/w sorted and doing the ripping..........so am keen to get this aspect correct. I have tried Monkey Audio, but they seem to use the same DB for lookups? I am now on CDEX which works (as far as I can see). Any thoughts on best/best'ist?
