Thanks Michel.I've started off with the FLAC front-end, and it's pretty good. Only minor niggle is that I store my music in a folder based on album name. So currently I've got a bunch of subfolders and FLAC front-end won't recurse the sub-directories for me.
I'll give flactester a try - it sounds pretty good, thanks. Meantime, the problem is pretty serious. I've got almost 1 in every 5 or 6 files which are "corrupt". FLAC testing (using the FLAC front-end GUI) has shown up a further 4 files (additional to the 2 I already knew about) which need re=ripping. And I'm still on "A". Damn. No idea what's going on here, but it's not good :( -- gutted http://www.last.fm/user/gutt3d/ Slimserver 6.3.1 +MusicIP Mixer 1.7 +MoodLogic 2.7.1.18 +AlienBBC 1.02a +Slimscrobbler 0.34 Windows 2000 Professional sp4 Intel Celeron 1.4GHz 512MB RAM Squeezebox 1 wireless (Player Firmware Version: 40) Library of approx 6600 MP3s ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gutted's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=147 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28686 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
