Just a note for Mac users -- download the python script and place it in your home folder. Then launch the Terminal application and type:
python spdifconvert.py Press the space key, then switch into the Finder and drag and drop the file you want to convert onto the Terminal window. Terminal will automatically fill in the file path; all you have to do is hit Return. And thanks to the author of said utility -- it worked like a charm!
