Do make sure you turn up the volume on the SB. If you like using your amp's volume control, it is best to just set the squeezebox to 100% volume, and then use the amp's volume control. Or if you like using the SB volume, set the SB to 100%, and set the amp to "as loud as you can handle" (usually around halfway if you've nicely overspec'd) and then use the SB volume to bring it into range.
