Hi folks, Bought a new receiver today - a Sony DA3200ES homecinema reciver with all the goodies :-) 7x110w ( I have bi-amped my fronts )
I've hooked up all my stuff, including the SB. When I play music from the SB I have to raise the volume ridicously much. Having searched the forums I understand that I'm not alone of having low output from the SB. So I've read about gain...album gain...track gain.... Questions: 1. Are there a FLAC ripper that can normalize/gain my albums when I rip them? is the gain just a tag? 2. if not, can I auto-gain them afterwards? 3. if 1&2 is no, should I go for HQ mp3 instead? can I gain/normalize them easier? 4... Maybe a FAQ about Rip/Gain would be good! I do LOVE my SqueezeBox - it is classy, sexy & smart!
