I should clarify--going from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 both at -5 was only a 2-3% size difference. I was comparing 1.1.2 at -5 to 1.1.3 at -8. That's around 5% (I only spot checked a few files too, so it's possible the actual difference would be different.) Still, it's worth doing.
