I finally for me found the soulution I was looking for. I bought a copy of Dbpoweramp Reference which now has the ability to securely ( plus ultra securely) rip with Accurip checking to an Apple lossless file. So I can use keep using itunes but use a good ripping program! best of all worlds at least for me. And if I ever want to convert to flac I know my files are 100%
