I would think so. I just did a quick test in MP3Tag, and checking the box changes the timestamp, while unchecking it does not, as expected. Maybe someone can chime in as to why the scan does not pick it up. I recall reading posts where people found the incremental scan to be less than reliable, but this may have been for an older SS version.
