And another hurrah for the Jazzloft sleeves. I tried to find something
similar sourced in the UK, but I couldn't find anything that matched
the bill, and the few that came close worked out more expensive even
taking the international shipping into account!

The CDs are still on shelves in the living-room; in part this is
because all shelves elsewhere are full of other things. It's rare that
I feel the need to find the booklet/artwork, but I still won't get rid
of them (nor the disc itself).

At first, I de-boxed CDs that I'd ripped to FLAC. Still no room, so I
escalated to CDs I'd ripped to lossy formats. I can see the floor
again, so there's less urgency for the rest. :-)

I do have several "archives" around, of CDs that I long ago decided not
to keep within easy reach. I've yet to decide whether to de-box them or
not, since I'll need boxes if I want to sell them on.

I still keep the boxes that have cardboard surrounds (like most ECMs
these days) and anything remotely fancy.

The discarded boxes are in piles in my office, in the hope that someone
else will find a use for them; but very few takers so far. They'll
probably get junked next time I have to move office. It would be nice
to recycle them properly, but for now they make a nice talking-point
and a chance to enthuse about the Squeezebox.
