In my travels around the forum, I've often come across users who were unaware of CD repair kits and weren't sure if they were effective.
I've had lots of success with a very cheap CD repair kit. I started to document it in a wiki page and the page grew to encompass not only CD repair kits, but all possible types of CD damage.
