does anyone use the COMMENT tag in their WMA files, and does SlimServer
find and recognise it when you do a re-scan?

to test:
i add a Comment to an MP3 file (using Mp3Tag), it is loaded into the
SlimServer mySQL db, and shows up on the Squeezebox display, no
problemmo.

but, if i add a Comment to a WMA file it is ignored, the comments table
in mySQL is bare.

i have tried adding the comment in Windows Media Player and Mp3Tag, and
both can recognise and read the tag created by the other app ... and as
an innocent 3rd-party, dbPowerAmp finds the tag irrespective of what
app added it. the comment tag also shows up in Windows Explorer.

everything else, and all other tags are working fine.

i had a look at the file header, only thing i noticed was that the
comment seemed to be in a seperate, less structured block, away from
the main WM style tags (track, album, composer etc).

so another bit of quantum weirdness from WMA files, but like i say all
the other apps i point at the files can read the Comment OK ... does
anyone know if SlimServer scanner reads WMA Comment tags???
