Is there something obvious that I missed? Thanks in advance,
Firstly, I'm afraid v0.2.9 (and v0.2.8) are a little broken (I tried a different method of launching flac and lame - it didn't work). So, I recommend using 0.2.7 until the next version is released (which will be when I get time to do it!) or using the latest code from svn [1]. Be aware that the trunk code is not guaranteed to work - it's where I do my development and could break at any time. Secondly, you shouldn't need to install MP3::Info - it's distributed with flac2mp3 in the lib directory. Thirdly (and lastly), try running flac2mp3 with the "--debug" option - it produces loads of output but should give you an indication of what's going wrong. R.
