Eventually, I will use Robin Bowes' flac2mp3 script to convert over 15,000 flac files to mp3, so to test it out, I set up a testbed as follows:
/test ----/test/flac --------/test/flac/Queen ------------/test/flac/Queen/A Day At The Races ------------/test/flac/Queen/A Night At The Opera ------------/test/flac/Queen/News Of The World --------/test/flac/Foreigner ------------/test/flac/Foreigner/Classic Hits Live I'm running openSUSE 10.2 with flac 1.1.2, LAME 3.97 and perl 5.8.8. I installed flac2mp3 version 0.2.9 in ~/bin/flac2mp3-0.2.9 . After making sure the script can find my perl interpreter in /usr/bin (done by changing line 1 to #!/usr/bin/env perl) and installing the MP3:Info module, from bash I run the command: flac2mp3.pl /test/flac /test/mp3 which does nothing but echo: Skipping /test/flac Skipping test/mp3 Any ideas? Is there something obvious that I missed?
