I've been using EAC/Mareo for a year or so now to extract FLAC & mp3 files with no problems, thanks to all the good advice on this site. For reasons too painful to mention, I'm having to reproduce the set-up on a new machine without making reference to my original build. The main changes are: Vista instead of XP & a new version of Mareo.
What happens is that Mareo is firing up but not actually doing anything. The logfile shows it interpreting the command line from EAC correctly but not finding anything to do: *** Received Command Line *** "C:\Program Files\Exact Audio Copy\mareo\mareo.exe" fon son mareo_std.ini "D:\Audio\Wave\Snow Patrol\Eyes Open\0tmp1!542.wav" "D:\Audio\Wave\Snow Patrol\Eyes Open\0tmp1!542.xxx" "Snow Patrol" "Eyes Open" "You're All I Have" "01" 2006 "Folk/Rock" *** Parsed Parameters *** Log 2 File (%1) = True Log 2 Screen (%2) = True INIFILE (%3) = C:\Program Files\Exact Audio Copy\mareo\mareo_std.ini [SOURCE] (%4) = D:\Audio\Wave\Snow Patrol\Eyes Open\0tmp1!542.wav [DESTTMP] (%5) = D:\Audio\Wave\Snow Patrol\Eyes Open\0tmp1!542.xxx [ARTIST] (%6) = Snow Patrol [ALBUM] (%7) = Eyes Open [TITLE] (%8) = You're All I Have [TRACK] (%9) = 1 [TRACKPADDED] = 01 [YEAR] (%10) = 2006 [GENRE] (%11) = Folk/Rock *** INI Parameters *** Padding Zeros = 2 DeleteWavFile = FALSE CorrectionChar = _ *** Encoder Orders Ends *** DeleteWaveFile is FALSE. *** DONE *** NO errors ocurred. The only thing I've spotted is that the source wav (with the temporary name) doesn't seem to get written - the only wav I see when watching the directory has the permanent name defined in the EAC options - but if I'm honest I'd never watched what happened on my original set-up. So, am I being blind, stupid or what ? I'd be really grateful for any suggestions as this is driving me nuts !! -- Crispy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crispy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5579 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34052 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
