Hope this is the right forum for my question. I have Slimserver running on my link station streaming flac files to my SB2. All works fine.
I am considering getting an ipod nano and it seems to me that Apple lossless format would be better than flac as this is supported by the ipod. When I check Apple lossless formats on slimserver file conversion page I get an error:- File Format Conversions 10: Setting was changed. Required binary was not found: [mov123] $FILE$ | [flac] -cs --totally-silent --compression-level-0 --endian big --sign signed --channels 2 --bps 16 --sample-rate 44100 - Do I need a new codec for this format? Any pointers appreciated.
